You are invited to join us at our next EarthSpirit
meeting on the first Wednesday of every other month
(January, March, May, July, September, November) in
Room 307, from 7 to 9 p.m. Anyone interested in being a part of the team is welcome to attend meetings or take part in our actions. To learn more about our meetings, see EarthSpirit Meetings.
What does involvement mean?
You may take an active role in helping us complete one of the many activities in our Action Plan , or you may bring your particular environmental passion to the group to gain support for working on it at the church. We want you to be engaged in activities that excite or enliven you, and you choose how much time you want to give to the team. There are roles for those who want to get deeply involved, including becoming leaders in the group, and there are much smaller commitments available for people who have just a short amount of time to be engaged in environmental action.
Another way to get involved is to invite another group at the church to participate in some type of environmental action. The EarthSpirit co-chairs can assist you to identify possible projects or actions. People do not need to attend EarthSpirit meetings to be part of the team or to participate in its Green Sanctuary Program.
For more information, please contact the co-chairs of the EarthSpirit Team, Marge
Wurgel, or Bonnie
Hough.
