                                    PRAYERS FOR PLANTS NATURE WALK

Sunday, October 5th  1:30 P.M.

Tecolote Canyon Park

Connect with nature while learning native plants and wishing them well on this EarthSpirit Team guided spiritual and family-friendly gathering in nearby Tecolote Canyon Nature Park.  We will identify chapparal and native plant uses in the native plant garden behind the Visitors Center.  Handicapped accessible.  Restrooms and water available.    Meet in the free parking area at the Visitors Center at 1:30.  From the church drive Washington west to I-5 north and exit Sea World Dr/Tecolote Rd east.  Take Tecolote Rd across Morena Dr and into the Park.   Our mission is to forge a relationship between nature and people.  The non-human beings that share his planet with us need our prayers and consideration just as much as family and friends.  Plants and animals all over the world are threatened by human-caused habitat destruction, pollution and apathy.  Our walk will pause along the way to say a prayer, share a reading or do a meditation while learning the plant's unique characteristics, wishing them well and relating plant and animal interactions to environmental impacts.   This the third in a series of similarly-themed outings.
Free event!
